About Us

Alissa has been involved in horses since the age of 4 riding , showing or just being around them. With the help of her grandfather, Robert "Benny" Harbin who has taught numerous children and adults over the years and had them show successfully in local open shows and national breed shows, she has learned what it takes to get a horse and rider to make a great team.
Now Alissa, with her husband Ron and Benny, is ready to help out fellow horse riders and owners. Whether it be riding lessons, groundwork, a refresher for you and your horse, training, show prep or competitive showing on the local or national level, we are ready to help you achieve your goals. Our approach is one of understanding your horse and how they react to you as the rider/handler and making your bond as a team stronger.

Our services

Riding Lessons

At AR2 we have lessons in Showmanship, Halter, Western disciplines such as Western Pleasure, Walk Trot, Horsemanship & Trail and English disciplines such as Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation.
We offer 30 minute beginner level riding lessons from age 3 and up. Intermediate and Advanced riders ages 8 and up for 60 minute lessons.

Training

Whether your horse needs a 30 day refresher or full training in your desired discipline for you to be able to show or ride how you want, we can help you with that. Our full training programs can be 30, 60, or 90 days. We also offer an in-house extended training program for your horse to get and keep them show ready and competitive.

Show Ready Services

Clipping: $30
Mane Banding: $50
Show Day Fees:
Local Open/Breed Show $45/day
World, National or Circuit Show (3 days or longer): $75/day
Fees include agreed upon show supplies, coaching, trainer working/riding the horse, showing the horse as client needed/wanted
Special Supplies: charged at cost to client
